Ahmad Esfandiari (1301 Tehran- 1391 Tehran)

He was one of the pioneers of modern Iranian painting and one of the first generation of Iranian modern painters. He had a special interest in painting about nature. In his style, cool colors and especially blue colors, are used a lot and because of that people refer to him as “The Painter of Blues”.
